Troy Firebrace is a Dja Dja Wurrung and Yorta Yorta man who from a young age would draw sketches in his books at school his work evolving over time. Troy began experimenting with new colour combinations, painting techniques and mediums. He draws Inspirations form street art, the environment, experiences in life and his culture.
Troy’s strong and colorful artwork expands upon cultural forms and ranges from painting on murals to bold multicolored canvases, wood burning and numerous art commissions.
“I hope to develop my art and take my Aboriginal art style to a whole new level. I believe an artist’s work is influenced by their own morals, beliefs and personality, hence why every artwork is so unique”.
