For many Aboriginal families, camp dogs are more than pets — they are family. They grow up around us, protect us, travel with us and become part of everyday life on Country. The dingo also holds an important place in our stories and relationship with Country. There is a deep understanding and respect for the way dogs have lived alongside Aboriginal people for generations. The bond between people, dogs and Country, and the understanding that our camp dogs have always been part of our family.
