As with many First Nations people, the Dja Dja Wurrung people pay respect to their ancestors for the life and teachings given to them by their forbears, Apical Ancestors- Family. This interpretation of reverent respect is shown here through the representation of spirits weaving throughout Djandak ‘country’.
